Intensity is a force to be reckoned with. It amplifies both our thoughts and emotions, making them incredibly powerful. Notice how it can work for us or against us. Life is always cyclical with its ebbs and flows of energy. All’s well when things are positive, but when they’re negative, look out!

The good news is, we have the ability to manage intensity through focus. By zeroing in and focusing our attention, we can concentrate and intensify our energy, propelling us towards goals. Conversely, widening our focus diffuses the intensity and creates a sense of calm.

Be aware that by allowing the high stress hormones that flood the body when things are intense to continue and be your norm will cause serious health problems over time. The same thing can happen as a result of the regular, excessive consumption of the various stimulant drugs, which, by the way, includes caffeine.

Notice also that when your emotions are supercharged the energy emanating from your body is amplified. The Law of Attraction is a universal law which states that like attracts like. The gift of the life we’re living here on this physical plane is that we get to experience everything–the good, the bad, and the ugly. That includes the high intensity of the extremes, both the positives and the negatives. While they’re intense, the extremes help us find clarity, and clarity, especially when you’ve been confused, is a gift. Always keep in mind that you have the power to widen back, becomee an observer, and not get caught up in the fray.

The Art of Intensity: Matching Your Energy to Your Needs

So recognize that you get to generate a high intensity energy or a low intensity energy. When you want things to move faster and fiercer, focus your attention and zero in. When you want things to slow down and soften, take some deep breaths and widen back. Consciously disconnect.
